About Virtual Twins and Programming Standards

Virtual Twins are cyber assets. 4iR Technologies has extensive expertise in developing Virtual Twins of discrete manufacturing processes, cells, and systems (circa ‘Virtual Manufacturing’, 2011, Springer, UK).

4iR Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd. follows ISO 841:2001 (Right Hand Rule) for defining machine tool axis orientation and configuration. The Virtual Twins accessible through the tabs below are programmable using ISO 6983 – 1:2009 (G&M Code programming).

ISO 841:2001 and ISO 6983 – 1:2009 are currently (2025) the most widely used valid standards as per ISO's latest review.

We also support programming using STEP–NC (where applicable), and offer part programming for discrete parts using G&M codes compatible with most CNC controllers.

4iR Technologies also develops controllers for subtractive and additive manufacturing machines, fully compliant with the mentioned ISO standards.
